The final day of Prohibition Partners Live was about Business and Investment with not only the movement of US firms into overseas markets – especially Europe – but also the internationalisation and globalisation of cannabis.

In his opening address to day three, Prohibition Partners’ CEO Stephen Murphy outlined the agenda and said two key topics that would be covered would be capital and the rise of celebrity brands and endorsement.

Proceedings will get underway at 12:00pm (BST) with a Pre-Event Networking Session where you can connect with and send contact requests to other attendees and schedule 1:1 private meetings within the platform.

This will be followed by a special live Prohibition Partners Consulting Roundtable on the Cannabis Europa stage. Chaired by Prohibition Partners’ consulting director, Barbara Pastori, it will home in on business and investment as firms seek the tools to navigate and prosper in the cannabis industry.

With more than 1,500 people attending Day 2 of Prohibition Partners LIVE, CEO and co-founder Stephen Murphy welcomed everyone to the event, the focus of which was Policy and Reform.

This, he said, would take in everything from the future of the industry to EU regulations and guidance, what this would mean for the UK where “the previous hot potato that cannabis was in a political sense is no longer there,” to potentially uncomfortable conversations about lack of diversity and social equality, sustainability, and the possible end of prohibition, which Mr Murphy joked could mean “we will have to change our name!”.

The focus for Day Two is Policy and Reform, beginning at 12:50pm (BST). Our first session of the day at 12:50pm (BST) will be Cannabis Europa 2021 – The Return of Events. What might the next series of industry events look like and who will be able to attend?
