GRAMMY AWARD NOMINATED SINGER KELIS, HOST OF NETFLIX’S “COOKED WITH CANNABIS” TO PRESENT & COOK AT PROHIBITION PARTNERS LIVE CANNABIS CONFERENCE 2020
London – Prohibition Partners LIVE 2020 is delighted to announce multi-platinum, Grammy nominated artist, fashion icon, entrepreneur, chef and Netflix star Kelis, will be a central part of its forthcoming two-day virtual conference, taking place on 22–23 June. The “Milkshake” singer will take to the Cannabis Americana stage where she will personally cook a dish using cannabis as a key ingredient.
“Cannabis is experiencing a global revolution and that revolution has come to our kitchens too. Cannabis is becoming a cooking ingredient in its own right, as chefs create sumptuous cannabis tasting menus at private dinners. Whilst conventionally, eating cannabis has long been about function over flavour, legalization has seen several prominent chefs become advocates of the plant,” said Kelis, host of Cooked with Cannabis.
Kelis will also take part in the discussion, “The Sound of Cannabis,” where they will examine many facets such as, how cannabis brands can leverage cannabis’ long held association with music to connect with audiences and how cannabis can become ever more mainstream through its associations with music and culture
Prohibition Partners LIVE will bring together thought leaders from the realms of culture, commerce, science, and politics to discuss the future of cannabis around the world. The event, a global digital extension of the phenomenally successful yearly conference ‘Cannabis Europa’ held at the Southbank Centre, offers a unique melting pot of minds and voices, and a significant opportunity to advance our understanding of cannabis. In a hub that hosts Grammy award nominated artists, leading politicians, and front-runners from the ever-widening body of cannabis industry professionals; the event offers a matchless opportunity for participants to share knowledge, gain insight and truly be part of shaping the future of cannabis.
