Mark heads up New Zealand’s only NZX listed medicinal cannabis company, Cannasouth. Based in the Waikato, Mark and the Cannasouth team have established state-of-the-art research laboratories and cannabis cultivation facilities. Cannasouth was one of the first companies in New Zealand to receive medicinal cannabis research licences for both the cultivation and extraction of cannabinoids. The company’s goal is to develop next-generation cannabinoid therapeutics to support patient health outcomes and improve their quality of life.
