Diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder as a child and classical Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Borderline Personality Disorder, C-PTSD and depersonalization/derealization disorder in later life, Lex has been utilising cannabinoids to manage his symptoms for years in hopes to avoid adding opioids and other addictive prescription medication to his cocktail of prescribed medication.

Worried about the legality of his symptom management, Lex turned to Project Twenty21 for support in affording a legal cannabis prescription.

Lex realised his passion for toxicology whilst studying Forensic Science at university, leading him to research the effects of cannabinoids and their therapeutic potential. Having fought to be allowed to research cannabinoids for his undergraduate thesis, Lex is currently writing a paper on how cannabinoids could be used in modern medicine to treat a variety of physical and psychological conditions.
