Jakob Sons is Co-Founder, Managing Director and General Counsel of Cansativa GmbH. From its headquarter in Moerfelden-Walldorf, Germany, Cansativa and its subsidiaries work to professionalize the medical cannabis market, eliminate stigmatization and to permanently reduce prices for patients. In 2019, Cansativa GmbH became the first European company to import medical cannabis from Australia. Jakob is a member of the German bar association and practices corporate and commercial litigation law. He was trained in international law firms for several years and is responsible for regulatory and general legal affairs.
