Ishaan K. Shah is Chairman of Linaria Chemicals (a GP Group company), one of Southeast Asia’s largest manufacturers of macrolide antibiotics and anti-tuberculosis active pharmaceutical ingredients. It supplies to generic pharmaceutical companies in more than 30 countries. Currently, Linaria is the only company in the world which manufactures and markets both pyrazinamide and ethambutol active pharmaceutical ingredients used in the first line treatment of tuberculosis. Since 2017, Ishaan and the GP Group have been actively investing in the cannabis markets in the USA, looking to capitalize on the growing industry abroad but also with a mind to bring back any best in class know-how as and when different parts of the industry open up in Thailand.
