Chief of Staff, Vangst

Coree Schmitz is Chief of Staff at Vangst and comes from the cannabis and startup community based in Denver, Colorado. Having managed teams in industries ranging from cannabis edibles to fintech, Coree brings a varied background in high growth companies to her role at Vangst. On the side, she runs her own consulting business to provide operational, team building and change management services to small companies looking to create the systems necessary for scaling beyond seed investment.

Prior to Vangst, Coree was General Manager at Stillwater Brands, maker of soluble cannabinoid-infused beverages and edibles. Coree obtained her MBA from the IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, where she studied alongside 400 other students who collectively represented more than 70 nationalities to give her a multicultural education as well as experience working with diverse teams. Coree is a U.S. Fulbright Scholar.
